Leadership
In His Hands Leadership
In His Hands Orphans Outreach is governed by a Board of Directors with a passion for orphans and vulnerable children.
Michelle Delhaute McGowan
Organization President
Michelle started In His Hands after God called her to do something about the orphan crisis. The work of In His Hands has been life-changing for Michelle as she has had the blessing of seeing transformation in orphaned children who have been part of the ministry. She loves helping orphans and spending time with her family. Michelle and her husband are the parents of 9 children, 4 of whom were adopted from China. She travels to the countries we work in to spend time with the children, get to know people in the community and plan programs.
Melissa Spells-Gammon
Secretary
Melissa has dreamed of being a full-time missionary to Africa since she was a child, but while she is waiting for the fulfillment of that dream, she is serving on the board at In His Hands and taking short-term mission trips, most recently to Kenya. Her compassion for needy children has led her to serve at a non-profit in the inner city of Indianapolis helping children from difficult situations to learn that they are valuable and giving them hope as they learn life skills and to care about themselves. She finds great joy in working with the children and especially seeing their transformations as they go through her program.
